The FutureWork Forum
With over 20 partners in all parts of the world, the FutureWork Forum was founded in 2003 as an independent global think-tank working with senior management in public and private organisations. The FWF help organisations create exciting programs to drive new level of employee engagement, customer satisfaction and business performance. Alain HAUT was appointed partner last spring and participated in autumn in the public release of FWF and Generation Europe Foundation acclaimed survey on „Employing the Next Generation: the right skills in the right place at the right time“.
Business Schools and Education certification by the European Foundation for Management Development
Since 1997, EFMD has designed an international process to provide the framework of a truly international quality assessment scheme to combine the need for commonly agreed standards with the need to respect the diversity of national systems . EQUIS is the quality certification for Business Schools and EPAS is the quality certification for business education programmes. Certifications are granted after a very serious Peers Review of several days : the international Peers Review team is made of 3 distinguished academic Deans of other business schools plus one « corporate reviewer » who has a large experience in the recruitment of Business (post-)graduates. Alain HAUT has been appointed Corporate Peer Reviewer for the EQUIS certification of the largest Danish business school (17'000 students) and EPAS certification of a London university business education programme.
Sales conference for 1’800 people
O plc has been retained to project manage and Alain HAUT to act as Master of Ceremony for the first international sales conference organised by the largest Eastern Europe and Turkey generic pharmaceutical company, that had been bought a year before by a « World Top 5 pharmaceutical group ». From theme selection to programme management, from transportation to on-site logistics in Barcelona, the project was completed in 4 ½ months : it adressed the cultural change encountered by the sales force of this company and reinforced their motivation and autonomy under their new ownership.
Alain HAUT has been retained as an Advisory Board member of Soshi Games, a start-up software company that creates social games (entertainment games on social networking sites) which are themed around social causes. They partner with large charities/NGO’s and companies with corporate social responsibility activities to cost-effectively acquire large numbers of passionate users who are monetised through a virtual goods strategy. Soshi Games’ first game came out this fall 2010.
2010 has been a good year for O plc. In addition to the activities listed above, O plc core activities of transition (a large project of overhauling the manufacturing operations of a medical devices company), coaching (including General Managers in Poland and Turkey), executive search (including 2 searches for a large medical supllies company), training (including the design and delivery of a taylor-made Management Level 1 course for the entire supervisory staff of a cosmetology company) and university lecturing ( including 3 courses in international business) have progressed forward.
